Condition guide
Condition should be written, not assumed.
A clear condition statement protects the buyer, the supply route and the comparison between offers.
NC / CONDITIONNever assume the grade
Condition is an order-critical specification. The quotation should state the offered condition and should not rely on an undefined label such as “good stock” or “A grade”.
New retail stock
Where offered, “new retail” should be clarified by packaging status, activation status, included accessories, regional version and any seal expectations. A box seal alone does not answer every condition question.
Other documented grades
Open-box, bulk, refurbished, returned or other graded goods should be described using the supplier's documented criteria. Ask about cosmetic standard, functional testing, battery expectations, replaced parts and packaging.
Packaging and accessories
Confirm retail box, bulk pack or replacement packaging; charger and cable; manuals; inserts; bundled accessories; and any region-specific power requirement. Missing accessories should be visible in the offer.
Identity and regional status
Check model or part number, serial or IMEI controls where relevant, colour, memory, region, SIM status, keyboard and power format. Any security lock or account status must be compatible with lawful resale and use.
Inspection evidence
The order documents should state any inspection window and the evidence needed for a discrepancy, such as carton photographs, serial lists, delivery records or test results. Preserve packaging until the goods are accepted.
